Consumers want socially responsible products; employees want meaningful work; investors now screen on environmental, social, and governance criteria; "clicktivists" create social media storms over company missteps. Today, when companies must be social as well as commercial actors, how can we find a compromise between stakeholder pressures and profit, avoiding simple "greenwashing" or "pinkwashing"? A roadmap is needed to explore how companies can address conflicts by innovating. We will discuss this topic with Gianmario Verona, Rector of Bocconi University, Francesco Starace, Chief Executive Officer and General Manager of Enel SpA, and Sarah Kaplan, author of the book L’impresa a 360°. Dai compromessi con gli stakeholder alla trasformazione organizzativa (Egea) Organized by Università Bocconi in collaboration with Egea.
